Kitten Covers: Albums Reimagined with Kitties…Cutest Thing Ever! (Photos)

Okay, I am not going to beat around the bush. This is pretty much the cutest thing, like, ever.  What made my whole family grin like little schoolgirls? The beautifully done Kitten Covers project, an homage to album covers of the past reimagined and starring kittens. Yes, kittens.

Kitten Covers is the creation of graphic artist Alfra Martini (aka aymvisuals). She has redesigned dozens of covers from the likes of Sly and the Family Stone, to Nirvana to Dr. Dre transforming the humans into felines.

As my family huddled in front of the computer flipping through the images, it became an educational musical journey for our five-year-old daughter. As my husband and I giggled like the before mentioned schoolgirls, our daughter didn’t know the old references. We pulled out dozens of our old records to show her the originals, and yes, she was just as impressed as us.

Get impressed yourself by checking out a sampling right here!
