Knocked Up and Arty — PART TWO!

Some artists use paper or canvas. Not Mark Greenawalt and  RoByn Thompson. They use the pregnant belly as the vessel for their work.  Theses artists have taken a paintbrush to the bare bellies of numerous ladies in the late stages of pregnancy.  On Mark’s site he says that belly painting offers the expectant mother “an opportunity to capture the moment of this precious time by decorating the womb with original artwork.” Most think that the child themselves is a work of art but for those who are impatient can put an image on the mystery within.

Time.com recently profiled some of their “art.” You can check out five more pieces of maternity magic right here. ALSO CHECK OUT PART ONE HERE
