Eric Michael Pearson has photographed a lot of great comedians of late, including David Cross, Wyatt Cenac, Sean Patton and the women of the groups Doppelganger and Cudzoo and the Faggettes. His photographs are incredibly striking and inventive, often involving the use of elaborate backgrounds, like this shot of Kurt Braunohler and Kristen Schaal surrounded by balloons, or some kind of off-beat movement, like in this photo of the Cudzoo girls with glitter raining down on them. But I’ve never quite seen anything like these photos Pearson recently took of comedian/writer Eliot Glazer. Pearson used the adorable Glazer as a human canvas and had an assistant throw paint at him layer by layer until Glazer ended up looking like a living rainbow. Check it out:
