Make A Family Tradition: Choose Something Your Child Will Remember Forever (VIDEO)

I come from a small family.  I only have one sibling – a younger brother.  And only one grandparent was ever really around.  But the five of us, my parents, my brother, Grammy and I were always sharing one special moment or another. And so many of them stick with me.  The Christmas mornings that lasted for hours, one gift opened and treasured at a time, dressing up for even the smallest of holiday meals, cooking with Grammy and mom, the many quizzes my dad would ask at the dinner table – state capitals and presidents…

I want the same type of memories to follow my children as they grow, start their own families and create their own traditions.  Now that they are old enough ( five and seven) to have conversations, suggest ideas and share what they love (and don’t love) it has become so much fun to come up with traditions of our very own – weaving my husband’s and my family lines together.

Make a family tradition in your home.  Tell us what it is.
