McGhee Sextuplets Appear on Oprah: Parents Make Out BigJohn Cave Osborne
Earlier today, six tiny infants appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show. And though the kids are a little young to soak up every experience of their young life, the parents are certain that the experience is one that they’ll never forget. And after hearing about what went down, I’d say they right. If I were them, I’d never forget the experience, either.
Mia and Rozonno McGhee had the ordeal of traveling with six infants. And though I can sorta relate, I’ve only had to travel with half that many. Even so, I can promise you this — their trip couldn’t have been easy.
But it sure was worth it. The sextuplets — who were born this past June and are the first ever in Columbus, Ohio — and their parents were showered with gifts for their efforts. Oprah gave the couple a honeymoon and a gift card for Walmart. I know. Big deal, right? At least the gift card part. Um, yeah. Pretty big deal. It was worth $250,000. I’m talkin’ quarter mil, y’all.
Rozonno McGhee was impressed with the talk show diva. “She was really down to earth, she really welcomed us and made us feel comfortable… She was like another family member.” Well, not quite. Oprah spilled the beans earlier this year about a surprise sister, but I’m pretty sure she didn’t say anything about six nieces and nephews.
Though the McGhees may be impressed with Oprah, I’m impressed with them. And, I wish them the best of luck. Sounds like they’re off to a good start.
