Michelle Obama's Stunning New Official White House PortraitSunny Chanel
On Wednesday, the White House revealed the new – and stunning – official portrait of the first lady Michelle Obama.
The photo was taken in the “green room,” in the White House on February 12th and is a flattering and fantastic photo of Mrs. Obama. Her gentle nature, her intelligence, and her friendliness seem to jump from the portrait, which just shows how good it is. And another thing that jumps out at us? Those now infamous bangs.
Michelle Obama explained the reasons why she made this big hair change to Rachel Ray saying, “This is my mid-life crisis, the bangs. I couldn’t get a sports car. They won’t let me bungee jump. So instead, I cut my bangs.”
Since she debuted her new hairdo on Twitter, there have been opinions from all sides with approval from the President saying,”to address the most significant event of the weekend, I love her bangs,” to a Washington Post contributor saying she didn’t like them, “because they make Michelle Obama look so much like Kerry Washington from “Scandal.””
