Who: Stuart Wickes and Kirstie Pelling, parents of three, Cumbria, England
Why we love this site: In their 10 years of adventuring around the world with their three children, Stuart and Kirstie have cycled, sailed, road-tripped, and backpacked their way around New Zealand, Samoa, North America, and Europe. Armed with the philosophy that the world is the most effective teacher there is, they advocate active time together outdoors as a way of building strong family relationships and instilling confidence in kids by teaching life skills at an early age. Most importantly, they remind us that parenthood is short, and use their adventures as a family to milk their time with their kids for all it’s worth.
