Why we love this site: Though they recently welcomed their third child into the world, this family of avid travelers won’t let the new baby slow them down. (Their second-born had been to Mexico twice and Japan once by the time she was 19 months old!) While the family mostly subscribes to a “the kids eat what we eat” philosophy, they provide great suggestions on easily packable and nutritious foods, such as Clif bars, applesauce packs, raisin boxes, and Horizon organic UHT milk (which doesn’t need to be refrigerated). They also offer wonderful ideas for kid-approved activities in big cities. During last summer’s trip to Tokyo, for example, they took their kids swan boating in Inokashira Park and visited the local aquarium.
