Who: Real names not given, parents of three, Australia
Why we love this site: Snaps and Blabs chronicles the adventures of a nomadic family of five that has been traveling the world for 390+ days. Mom, a.k.a. “Snaps,” is Romanian-born, while Dad, a.k.a. “Blabs,” is American. The two met while living in Australia, and over a year ago, sold everything they had for a ’round-the-world adventure with their two daughters, “Little Fab” and “Miss B,” and baby son, “The Dodman.” During their yearlong adventure on a self-described “shoe-string budget,” they’ve traveled throughout Asia and the Middle East (including a stint in post-revolution Egypt), and are now camped out in Mom’s native Romania. Snaps does all the writing on the site. Her lively, intelligent voice and magnificent photographs make Snap and Blabs our favorite travel blog of the year.
