Why we love this site: This family has been on the go for the last six years, traveling to 42 countries on five continents. “Jeanne D’Arc” and “DaVinci” (pseudonyms, of course) are older parents who retired early, sold their house, and took their daughter “Mozart” on a grand adventure, schooling her on the road – with a budget of $23 a day. Jeanne beautifully catalogs her family’s cultural experiences. She also provides helpful book recommendations and innovative suggestions on how they educate their child. At one point, Mozart was getting online lessons from a private tutor via iPad! Readers can come here for advice on everything from insurance to overall health concerns on the road.
