Top 50 iPhone Apps for Moms
About a week after I began using my iPhone, I was in love. I had a calendar with me at all times, and I was able to stay on top of my family's schedule - even though there are six of us! I had email access while I was out, so I wasn't constantly playing catch up with PTO business in the evening. And then I discovered apps! With these programs, I could track my baby's feeding schedule, my family's illnesses, and my attempts at exercise. And there were apps that could help keep my children entertained and educated! My iPhone was quickly becoming a vital tool that made my busy mom life more manageable.
In January 2009 I began a website, The iPhone Mom, dedicated to helping moms find apps that could do the same for them. Since beginning the site, I've seen both the quantity and quality of useful apps for moms grow.
Babble.com asked me to put together a list of my Top 50 iPhone Apps for Moms. Here, in descending order, are my favorites and the ones I think you'll find most useful.

Grocery IQ is a grocery list app that is designed to help you quickly make and share lists by typing in items or scanning product barcodes. Lists can be created for different stores and can be sorted by aisles. You can rearrange the aisle order for the different stores so the list shows items in the right spot. (This is a great feature for me because I always go through the grocery store in the same order.) Grocery IQ is linked in with Coupons.com and shows you coupon offers within the app. These coupons can be “clipped” and emailed or printed out for later use. My husband’s favorite part of Grocery IQ is the list-sharing. If I add items to the app on my iPhone, they will show up in the app on his phone. This comes in handy for the times he hits the store on his way home from work. I’m even able to add items while he’s out shopping, and they’ll immediately show up on the list.

I’m surprised that while these are Apps for moms there isnt apps for moms to entertain kids like Elmo’s Monster maker
isnt that really an app for mom too…
