Top 50 iPhone Apps for Moms
About a week after I began using my iPhone, I was in love. I had a calendar with me at all times, and I was able to stay on top of my family's schedule - even though there are six of us! I had email access while I was out, so I wasn't constantly playing catch up with PTO business in the evening. And then I discovered apps! With these programs, I could track my baby's feeding schedule, my family's illnesses, and my attempts at exercise. And there were apps that could help keep my children entertained and educated! My iPhone was quickly becoming a vital tool that made my busy mom life more manageable.
In January 2009 I began a website, The iPhone Mom, dedicated to helping moms find apps that could do the same for them. Since beginning the site, I've seen both the quantity and quality of useful apps for moms grow.
Babble.com asked me to put together a list of my Top 50 iPhone Apps for Moms. Here, in descending order, are my favorites and the ones I think you'll find most useful.

Web MD Mobile is a medical app for any mother who’s ever worried about her child’s mysterious symptoms (hmm, know any of those?). When I’m trying to decide if I need to call up the pediatrician, I consult the Web MD app “Symptom Checker.” It walks you through a series of questions about symptoms to determine if everything is going to be fine or if you need to get help. Besides the symptom checker, you can use the app to perform a search of Web MD website’s content, including a section on Drugs and Treatment, which gives you information on different drugs and vitamins such as usage, warnings and side effects as well as a pill identifier. Finally the app contains a First Aid section with information and visual guides for emergency procedures like CPR. Web MD Mobile is a great free medical resource.

WebMD app will surely be a hit on my moms Iphone, thanks for this review! I will download this for her now. You know it is awesome to give mom apps as she doesnt know how to get one! The last time I downloaded an app she asked me will this app clatter my iPhone? Then after a week she exclaimed This is sooo efficient! Well, Intuition (www.iconapps.com) has many great features including reminders and to-do list organizer which she really needs as she finds it hard to keep tabs on everything. And now, with WebMD on her phone, I am sure she will yell Great! Great!
