Top 50 iPhone Apps for Moms
About a week after I began using my iPhone, I was in love. I had a calendar with me at all times, and I was able to stay on top of my family's schedule - even though there are six of us! I had email access while I was out, so I wasn't constantly playing catch up with PTO business in the evening. And then I discovered apps! With these programs, I could track my baby's feeding schedule, my family's illnesses, and my attempts at exercise. And there were apps that could help keep my children entertained and educated! My iPhone was quickly becoming a vital tool that made my busy mom life more manageable.
In January 2009 I began a website, The iPhone Mom, dedicated to helping moms find apps that could do the same for them. Since beginning the site, I've seen both the quantity and quality of useful apps for moms grow.
Babble.com asked me to put together a list of my Top 50 iPhone Apps for Moms. Here, in descending order, are my favorites and the ones I think you'll find most useful.

Words with Friends is like Scrabble, but it can be played against anyone who also has the app and appears on your friends list. The way the game works, you play a word and then your friend receives a push notification that it’s his or her turn. Then when he or she plays a word, you receive a notification. Games go back and forth like this and can take an eternity to finish if you’re only taking one turn a day, but the fun part is playing against someone you know. (I’d much rather play against a friend than an app-generated player.) I enjoy the Scrabble app, but it often leaves me frustrated because my words are no match for my artificial-intelligence opponents. When I want a game that’s challenging and lets me connect with my friends and family, this is the one I choose.

Is anyone else disappointed that all these apps are cooking losing weight shopping and worrying about danger disaster and health crisis apps. Is there nothing else to a mom than that? I would like to quietly, like a friend whispering in your ear suggest Kindu. This is a beautiful little app that let’s you and your partner answer questions about romantic and sexual activities that you might like to try. You answer each question with yes no or maybe. Then you see the places you match up. You don’t get to see your partners answers so if you say you would like to try something really crazy and they answer the same question with a no, it simply doesn’t show up in your matches and you don’t have to confess if you don’t want to. I also love the kindle reader, all of my books for pleasure and for work are always at my fingertips wherever I am and whenever I have a few minutes of time. I wish babble would spend more time exploring joy and complexity and less time feeding my fears.

My friend recently got me hooked on this game! I love that I can play it with any of my friends anywhere! I also love that we can play at a simple, slow pace. This game is set up perfectly for what it is and for the people who use it. I highly recommend checking this out!..I also use the ANAGRAMMER to give me more hints..
