Grocery Gadget

This little app was the #1 pick on our list last year, and while it’s been bumped from the top slot, it’s still too good not to include! Grocery Gadget lets you sync your shopping list with your spouse – even if they are on a different phone platform than you. (The app’s available for Android and Blackberry, too.) You can organize your lists by store and by project, and even create the whole list on grocerygadgets.com with a group name and password to make it super simple to share and access from different locations. If your spouse is at home, and you’ve already left, he can add something to your list from his phone or the computer, and the list on your phone will automatically update. And if you are sending your spouse to the store, you can even add a picture of exactly what you need or scan the barcode of the product so that he won’t come home with the wrong box/brand/product! Grocery Gadget also allows you to keep track of e-coupons so you can match them up with what you are buying to save some money.
