Nerdiest Couple EVER Takes the 6 Most Awkward, Sexy and Hilarious Engagement Photos EVER

By Meredith Carroll |

I’ll admit that I didn’t know that engagement photos were thing, exactly. I mean, when I was engaged my then-fiancé and I asked a friend to snap a picture of us, but it wasn’t an engagement portrait so much as it was one of the few pictures we had of us together that didn’t have one of our arms sticking up in the air to take it ourselves.

But I am in the minority, apparently. Engagement photos, wedding photos and even “morning-after” wedding photos are all a thing. San Francisco couple Casey Grim and Adam McLaughlin know that, and when they got engaged, they decided to have some fun with the engagement-photo trend. Hilarious engagement photos ensued, but that description really doesn’t do them justice.

Casey posed seductively for a bunch of photos (because sexy engagement photos are part of the thing?), and then Adam struck the same pose, in the same wardrobe (or in some cases, topless) as Casey.

The resulting photos are awfully funny (emphasis on the awful and the funny). If the couple who laughs together stays together, there’s no doubt Casey and Adam will live happily ever after.
