Are you worried that your kids are growing up too fast? We all seem to fret about this topic these days. One way our kids, our very tech savvy kids, are growing up too fast is by using the internet in ways that aren’t age-appropriate. The whole world, the good, the bad and the ugly, is just a click away. And while some of us monitor our children’s use of the internet to make sure they’re not diving into the dark side (fill in your worst case scenario web site here), others have a more of a savoir faire attitude towards to their offspring getting caught into the world wide web.
Brazilian cable giant UOL has created a creepy, yet completely eye-catching, campaign to bring more parental control to their kid’s computer usage. The ads depict kids distorted via photoshop and given facial hair and make-up with the tag line, “Don’t let your child lose his childhood on the internet.”
