Oh, Toddlers & Tiaras, there’s always something crazy going on.
In fact, it doesn’t even seem like the producers have much digging to do to find the crazy, because it’s around every corner on this wretched reality show.
In last night’s new episode, one mom noted, “We take a lot of inspiration from RuPaul,” adding, “He’s our favorite queen.”
This Toddlers & Tiaras family is looking to drag queens for inspiration, and why the heck not? These pageant folks have their girls dressing up like the Pretty Woman hooker or wearing fake Dolly Parton boobs, so idolizing RuPaul doesn’t seem like that much of a leap.
RuPaul is fierce and fabulous and I love her as much as this family, so I’ve got no beef there.
What’s totally weird and creepy here is young Bob’s ridiculous beaded rat tail. I haven’t seen a rat tail in many years and really didn’t care to see one again. It’s the hairstyle equivalent of a mullet, and I think (hope) we’ve put that disaster behind us too.
Plus, he notes, his mom put in new beads so he has “fresh, new pageant power.”
And when the kid is finished and done with it, Mom has big plans for that rat tail … she’ll put it in her jewelry box!
