On Beauty: There Are Differences, But There Are No Flaws (Video)

Dear Karen Walrond, I'm wildly convinced that you're uncommonly beautiful, too.

Karen Walrond is wildly convinced that you’re uncommonly beautiful. Despite what mainstream media and cosmetics companies may be telling women, you’re already beautiful.

And Karen has photographic evidence. In her 1,000 Faces project on her blog, Chookooloonks, Karen has set out to photograph 1,000 women, and the results are simply stunning.

Some of her ongoing work on that project is in her YouTube video, on real beauty.

Karen, a writer, photographer, mom, and non-practicing lawyer, also writes the column Bliss Your Heart here on Babble Voices. She’s also the author of the book The Beauty of Different.

This is a video to share with your friends, and more importantly, with your daughters. I an also tell you that it’s going to be showing up at my daughters’ Girl Scout meetings in the very near future. It’s just…amazing.

Check out this absolutely gorgeous video, below, and see if it doesn’t inspire you to go be amazing, too.
