Ask Danielle: Online Resources for Scrappy Work at Home Moms [Video]
I am so thrilled to be contributing to MomCrunch with a weekly video column offering up advice to those who want to succeed within the blogging space. As the founder and principal of Sway Group (essentially a talent agency for bloggers), I spend a lot of time working with amazing women and helping them to monetize their blogs and their brands. Moving forward, I’d love to answer any questions that you guys have for me. This is meant to be a resource for you. To submit questions for this column, please email me at danielle (at) swaygroupllc (dot) com.
In the meantime, I thought I’d focus this week’s video on some of the resources that have helped me start my business as a mom with no funding.
Resources mentioned in the video:

Thanks Danielle for these fantastic recommendations. We’ve been looking at some of the 37 Signals products and wondering which ones we’d possibly want to use.
Just so you know the link to HighRise isn’t correct. It should be linking to http://highrisehq.com
And I hear you about the signing and faxing contracts. It is such a hassle for mom bloggers… we are going to look at that tool for future use.
Huge congrats on starting up Sway Group!
THanks Susan, and thank you for pointing out the link problem. All fixed now.
Thanks for a great column. Quick, easy and entertaining.
Here’s a good question: What’s the best way to choose (or be chosen by) an ad network for your blog?
Congrats on your new start up! A mentor once told me starting her own business was the most exciting and the most terrifying thing she had ever done. Best of luck to you.
My question is, what’s the best legitimate way to increase your Twitter following?
Rock on, Danielle. So pleased for you! (And off to look into Echosign now…I can think of several times in my work when that kind of product would have been really useful.)
I absolutely love EchoSign and 37 Signals!
EchoSign is definitely a time-saver with all the contracts and W9s I need to work with on LatinaBloggersConnect.com. Plus, makes you look smart when your signee gets a form for the first time and they love the convenience of it..and the joy of the “discovery.”
We’ve been using Basecamp and Backpack from 37 Signals since we launched SpanglishBaby. Since it’s two of us co-publishing that site, it helps so much to keep our editorial calendar, notes, files and ideas in one place. Basecamp has been amazing to project manage all the clients on LBC. I’ve been wanting to try out Highrise, but hadn’t taken the plunge. Had no idea it could connect to your comment form. You’ve sold me now!
Love this video segment and seeing you on camera!
