Oscar Red Carpet: The Best & Worst Dressed According to a 6-Year-Old (Photos)

Angelina Jolie at the Oscars

My six-year-old daughter loves fashion. And this kindergartner? She is opinionated…like really opinionated. She has no qualms about sharing her enthusiasm or disdain for what she likes and doesn’t like. So what better use of a Sunday evening than having her watch the Oscar red carpet and give her take on what Hollywood’s royalty wore from Angelina Jolie, to Meryl Streep to Emma Stone.

My daughter has no idea who any of these actresses are, doesn’t know the name of a single designer and hasn’t seen any of the movies nominated (except for The Muppets). She watched the Oscars red carpet from a clean slate – it was purely about the dresses.

So, what did she think of the gowns? Check out her take on the best and worst dressed from Academy Awards – who looked like a swan and who looked like a spider – right here:

(above: Angelina Jolie -“It’s sorta pretty. But I don’t like how it’s cut in the front and her leg sticks out. That’s weird.”)
