Parenting by the Numbers: Preschool Edition

By Meredith Carroll |

Preschooler

The day in the life of a preschooler is not a short day. For me it’s not, anyway.

As is the case with my 6-month-old baby, it’s a numbers game, really. Lots of laughs, lots of tantrums, lots of tears, lots of prancing around naked with similarly undressed teddy bears. But who’s counting?

Take a look at how my preschool-age daughter adds up:

Terrible twos? Ha. Just wait until they're three.

Ten

The number of books she requires be read to her each day.
Don’t bother trying to skip pages, by the way. She’ll know.

This was cute, thanks. I also liked the ‘preschool problems” meme you did from the other day.

  2. Meredith Carroll says:

@Dro – Glad you liked them. Thanks for the nice comment.

Wow. Your little girl is beyond cute. I’m sure you already know that.

  4. amie says:

Reminds me of my Lily when she was a toddler. She’s 7 going on 16 now. She’s still my little princess, but with more attitude. I love this story, very sweet.

  5. Janet says:

Love the picture for “8″. Looks like the Princess Bee (I’m just guessing here) has had a long, weary day.
