Parker-Broderick Twins are Here!

sjpmbLet the surrogate-Sarah Jessica Parker-fashionable-girl-twins circus begin!

Early reports out of Martins Ferry, Ohio, tell us that the twins were born last night and parents Parker and Matthew Broderick are at the hospital with the babies.

No word on whether they were there for the birth, but the couple is expected to make an announcement today.

Babies born via a gestational carrier for such a beloved celebrity couple will no doubt get the discussion of surrogacy, the hows, the whys, the whether-it’s-exploitatives discussion going. Below is a video of a gestational carrier and the parents who benefited spilling all.

As for the new baby Brodericks, security has been tightened at the hospital, though a spokesperson would not confirm the birth of the twins.

There’s currently an investigation into whether the town’s police chief conspired with another area police chief to break into the surrogate’s home to take pictures of a plaster cast of her pregnant belly.

In addition to the discussing all the baggage surrounding gestational carriers we can likely anticipate the birth of a new celebrity, the surrogate mother herself.

Also, we’re looking forward to weighing in on the baby names, as we like to do with all the celebs’ babies. Though if big brother James is any indication of the Parker-Broderick naming style, we’re thinking everybody’s safe from ridicule.
