When you think of postpartum bellies, you think of women and things like C-section scars, stretch marks and nagging baby weight. But few ever think of dads and what their bellies are like after the baby is born.
Dads gain weight during pregnancy, too. Whether it’s water weight, sympathy weight, or if-you’re-having-a-third-Twinkie-then-why-not-I-will-too weight, more dads than not have been known to pack on some pounds as they prepare with their wives or partners to welcome a child.
So, let’s see it, Dads. We want to see your postpartum bellies. You can include your faces in the photos if you want. You can even include your baby in the photo if you’re so inclined. But we need to see your bare belly.
Here’s how to submit your picture:
It’s pretty simple: Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org. It’s that simple. We’ll include as many as we can in a future post on the topic.
Ready . . . set . . . send us your belly pictures, Dads!
