I have never been to a Red Robin, but a story like this makes me think they’re worth giving a try! Especially if I happen to be knocked up.
Red Robin, the restaurant chain that has outposts across the land, has a manager whose kind gesture has gone viral. At the location in Apex, N.C., a couple were dining with their 2-year-old son. During the meal, the manager had joked with mom Amie Sivon, who was very pregnant at the time, that it might be her last meal before giving birth. When the Sivon family received their check, the cost of Amie’s meal had been deducted and the note, “MOM 2 BEE GOOD LUC” appeared on the computerized receipt instead.
“The manager said nothing to us about it,” Jason Sivon told ABCNews.com. “We were already happy with the service so that action really blew us away. I looked at my wife and told her that I guessed we would be coming here more often.” Mr. Sivon was very impressed with the act saying it should “make businesses see the value of being more personable,” he said to ABCNews.com. This came to no surprise to Red Robin. “These kinds of random acts of kindness in our restaurants are part of our culture,” said Kevin Caulfield, a Red Robin spokesperson.
Does hearing these kinds of stories influence your likelihood of becoming a customer of an establishment?
