Puppy Love: Disney Brings a Favorite Animated Scene to Life

In case you haven’t been exposed to enough of the mushy love stuff this week, here’s a little more for your viewing pleasure.

In honor of the re-release of their 1955 classic, “The Lady and the Tramp,” Disney has gotten a scruffy looking mutt and a pretty little cocker spaniel to play real life dogs pretending to be cartoon dogs pretending to be humans.

The pups act out the famous scene from the film where Lady and The Tramp share a plate of spaghetti to the tune of “Belle Notte.”

I can think of worse ways to spend a minute and twelve seconds. Who am I kidding? I watched this a half dozen times by myself and a half dozen more with my kids. Who loved it more? That’s up for debate.

What can I say? I’m a sucker for a couple of canines falling in love over a plate of fake spaghetti and a few questionable looking meatballs.

Check it out for yourself:
