Ryan Lochte Says He's Not a One-Night Stand Kind of Guy, Despite His Mom's Icky Comment to the Contrary

Ryan Lochte

He's a relationship guy, not a one-night stand guy

Aaaaaaaand the weird conversation about Ryan Lochte’s sex life is coming to an awkward close.

Following a bizarrely inappropriate interview his mom gave to the Today show in which she ickily said her son only had time for one-night stands, and then Dr. Ruth hilariously tweeted all about it (and then some), the Olympic stud is finally talking and trying to put rumors of his dry-land activities to rest.

“I’ve never done that,” Ryan told Us magazine of his mom’s comment about his, uh, love, life (“He goes out on one-night stands,” Ike Lochte said.” He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.”)

Suuuuuuuuuuure you haven’t, Ryan.

“They took it out of context,” Lochte, 27, said in Us. “My mom is really new to all of this and the media. She meant since the last 4 years I just wanted to focus on swimming, and I didn’t really have time for a relationship. When I’m in a relationship, I want to give that person my entire heart and I wasn’t able to ever do that because of swimming. I’m always on the go. So what she meant is that I do go out on dates. But its not that thing that everyone is talking about, because that’s not me. I’ve never done that and never have been like that, so I don’t want people to think that about me.”

However, what Lochte doesn’t mind you thinking about him is that he kisses and then tells his buddies about it, as he revealed in an interview in Women’s Health magazine.

But just as long as he doesn’t kiss ‘em and then dump ‘em the morning after, it’s all cool.

And maybe his mom should just stick to commenting on his swimming in the future, and stay out of his bedroom. At least in interviews, anyway.

Actually, she should just always stay out of his bedroom.

Ick.
