In a new report that will surprise absolutely no one, it turns out that people don’t trust ads.
What WAS interesting about the report created by the smart folks at Lab 42 is how few people are compelled to make a purchase because of a sponsored post.
Other than that, the only real kernels of interest in the infographic is the disparity on some items between men and women. For instance, 77% of men believe that beauty ads are “very accurate.” Sure, dudes, that woman really DOES have inch-long eyelashes from that mascara. AMAZING (y’all know I’m being sarcastic, right?).
