SJP and Broderick Give One Twin More Names Than the OtherMadeline Holler
A family friend of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick reported the parents are over the moon for their twin daughters, born early yesterday morning in Ohio.
Late yesterday, the couple announced the girls’ names — both get middle names honoring families on Sarah’s side.
I’m a little confused, though. And worried on behalf of one of the twins.
You see, she got four names, according to ABC News, but I’ve noticed the other only got three. Can you do that?
Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick was 5 pounds 11 ounces at birth. Tabitha Hodge Broderick was 6 pounds.
Is the name imbalance going to backfire, or am I the only one raising a rather petty bean counter of a child who gave me grief for having planned to give the baby girl we didn’t have my middle name?
While we’re at it, what do you think of the names? Not as classic as their big brother’s — James Wilke — but nothing too wild for everybody to make fun of. (Loretta is surprisingly country, though.)
Let’s hear it. Baby name hit or miss?
