No word on if it hurts to be as dumb as the Fox reporter in this piece

The Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee brings out all kinds of bright kids. One in particular — 6-year-old Laurie Ann Madison — recently beat out lots of kids older than her in her area and will now go on to compete for the title, according to Mommy Shorts.

However, if the title were decided based on a spell-off she had with a reporter from Fox News, she’d already be crowned the winner. And he’d be the dunce.

Take a look at how little Laurie Ann Madison fared against a grown-up with a real job that involves talking, and maybe even some writing (and spelling):
