On the last day of school, my daughter’s kindergarten class had a “drive-in” activity. We were given a project to make a box car. I’ve never made a box car before, especially out of a cardboard box, so I knew this was going to be a challenge. My daughter was so excited about the car and since I am vouching for mother-of-the-year award, I waited until the day before the drive-in activity to make her car. Tsk, tsk…
We started off with a plain box and with the help from grandma, we ended up with an adorable purple car box. The next morning, when I dropped off my daughter at school, she was beaming with pride. My heart melted at how sweet she looked. At 10:00 am, all the parent were invited to walk with the kids, as they paraded around the school in their cars. It was about the most adorable experience of my life! The kids concluded their day with a showing of what else? Cars 2, of course! Take a look at my drive-in story!
Adorable, right? That was so, so cute!
I’m really going to miss kindergarten.
