BABBLE BEST - MOMMY BLOGGERS
Mommy bloggers make a difference. Sometimes it's their confessional tone that helps you feel like you're not the only one, sometimes their simple honesty puts you at ease, and sometimes they're so funny, you almost snarf your protein shake. There are the bloggers we relate to and there are others we watch like a train wreck, but no matter where we're coming from, we're all part of the same overwhelming, magical situation.
That's why we're dedicating the inaugural Babble Top 50 list to those who know best: moms. Babble staff and contributors compiled our top mommy-blogger picks based on the following criteria: most controversial, funniest, most confessional, best design, most useful and best written (though we left off Babble's own mommy bloggers because, as with our own kids, we couldn't possibly pick a favorite). These are our picks, but we're sure you'll have something to say on the matter, too.

Fussy is a fun blog written by Eden Marriott Kennedy. Fussy has the greatest number of individual taglines we’ve seen (four!): “Since 2001″ “How may I be of assistance? I have a car.” “We’re not Happy Until You’re Not Happy” and finally - and most importantly -“Writing well is the best revenge.” Kennedy’s posts are remarkably literary and often come sprinkled with reviews, poems, and pictures of all sorts - including a three-month slideshow of Kennedy’s hair growing back after she lopped it all off. With eight full years of serious content, Fussy is voluminous - intriguingly, about the only thing that doesn’t get copious attention is her son Jackson, though Kennedy does have a post on giving birth to him in her bathtub. Fussy posts appear in blog compendia Never Threaten To Eat Your Coworkers and Sleep Is For The Weak: The Best of the Mommybloggers, but Kennedy’s dedication and charm merit inclusion all on their own.
