Tiny Titans, Mickey Mouse and More - Kids Comics This Week

Hey Kids! Comics!Kids Comics This Week include Tiny Titans, Mickey Mouse and more. Let’s dive in.

Kid Stuff

Super Friends #21: This is notable only because I see that this series is up to issue #21 already and I realize how long I’ve been buying it for my son.

Tiny Titans #22: This series continues to be hilarious in a nerdy, groaning way. In the current issue, Plastic Man has a son named Offspring. Get it? Spring? Like bouncy? It’s dopey and yet, I love it.

Simpsons Comics #160

Mickey Mouse And Friends #297

Walt Disneys Comics & Stories #700: More Disney comics from Boom! Studios. This one is the “third longest-running comic book series in Direct Market history“, according to TFAW.

Walt Disneys Christmas Classics Vol 1 HC: Some older holiday-themed Disney comics.

Borderline Kids Stuff/Older Kids

Romeo & Juliet The Graphic Novel TP Original Text Version

Tempest The Graphic Novel TP Original Text Version: Original text as in “thees and thous.”

Sense And Sensibility And Sea Monsters: Continuing the bizarre trend of taking Jane Austen novels and adding monsters.

Grown-up stuff

Dr Horrible One Shot: A comic book version of the popular Joss Wheedon musical starring Neil Patrick Harris. Which you can watch right here if you want to.

Fall Out Toy Works #2: Fall Out Boy’s comic book series, which nobody seems to care about.

Jesus Hates Zombies Featuring Lincoln Hates Werewolves In Yea Though I Walk: I know very little about this one, but the title is fantastic. Read more about it at the official Jesus Hates Zombies blog, and also at the ComicSpace Jesus Hates Zombies page.

Star Trek: the new Star Trek movie is out on DVD. The fact that I don’t have it yet is a source of great sadness in my life. However, I just realized that Amazon has the Star Trek movie on Blu-Ray for only $19.99. So I will have it soon.

Watchmen The Ultimate Cut: Now you can watch an even longer version of “The Watchmen” movie. On Blu-Ray. I’m kind of interested in this one, but not as much as I am in Star Trek. (Did I mention I liked Star Trek? Oh yeah, I did.)
