Toddlers & Tiaras FAIL: 4-Year-Old Pretends to Smoke Cigarette on StageSunny Chanel
If the whole Toddlers & Tiaras phenomenon wasn’t bad enough with the over-the-top outfits, layers of makeup and sugar fixes, the mothers involved continue to push the envelope of tastefulness and good judgment. In a new episode one pageant mom didn’t just shock the viewers at home but also the seen-it-all’ judges. What went down?
Four-year-old Destiny hit the stage to perform a number from Grease. Dressed up as the main character Sandy, the mini-beauty queen held on tight to a prop cigarette. “Don’t forget to smoke,” her mom instructed her before she performed. The judges seem genuinely shocked by the inclusion of the prop.
“Destiny has a cigarette!” one of the judges said afterward her number. “What is she thinking!”
While the whole cigarette thing was just to give more detail to the performance, instructing such a young child to pretend to smoke can only be damaging. And seeing a 4-year-old pretend to smoke is just downright disturbing.
Do you see anything wrong with a child pretending to do something like smoke?
