Some of the girls from “Toddlers & Tiaras” sat down with their moms on Anderson Cooper this week to talk about the pageant life.
While Anderson Cooper tried his best to understand what all the hoopla is about kid pageants, the little girls’ moms of course defended the bizarreness of it all and their little girls smiled and acted appropriately over-the-top.
Eden Wood even performed her signature “Cutie Patootie” song, which totally creeps me out… and judging by Anderson’s reaction, I don’t think he’s much of a fan either.
Anderson also gave the girls a “make-under,” cleaning all the goop off of them and putting them into regular clothes – you know, so they look like little girls again? Then Cooper asked if they like it better without all the makeup and glitz – guess what? They’re happier without it all.
Of course, these pageants always seem to be driven most by the creepy stage moms who are somehow trying to live vicariously through their kids.
