The moms on this list offer an incredible variety of ideas for DIY crafts and accessories to try with the kids — or by yourself. (Don’t worry: we won’t tell anyone how easy most of them actually are!) Thanks to our panel of craft lovers and industry insiders, you’ll see some new names on this list along with old favorites. And if we missed a crafty mom you love, please nominate it in the comments. Glue guns at the ready! — Amy Reitersee the full list »

1. Mer Mag
The What’s What: On Mer Mag you’ll learn how to make a colorful animal mask or interlocking play castle out of cardboard boxes and duct tape and discover that hanging a black-and-white raincloud over your child’s crib is actually a cheery decoration choice (no, really: it’s all about the polka dots). This is all in keeping with blogger Merrilee Liddiard’s motto: “We love to play. And to play creatively at that. No lonely cardboard box is safe.” She says she’s “obsessed with all things kids and playful” — and now, we’re a little obsessed with her.
The Mama: Merrilee Liddiard wears a lot of crafty hats: she’s an illustrator (check out her work under the pen name Tuesday Mourning here and here), painter, dabbling designer, crafter, seamstress and mother of three: two boys and a “wee little girl.” All of them creatively provided for, of course.
