36. Aesthetic Nest
The What’s What: The Aesthetic Nest features a broad range of projects to sew, knit, crochet, cook or otherwise create. Blogger Anneliese will show you how to whip together both things that are trendy, like a faux-fur infinity scarf (perhaps in the winter-white shade she’s feeling right then) and timeless, like a dirndle skirt, crocheted picot and lace baby sweater or oilcloth tablecloth.
The Mama: Anneliese, a marketing pro and mother of three girls she calls her “muses,” says she began the Aesthetic Nest as a way to motivate herself to cross things off her list. “Finished is finished. But blogged is even better!” she writes. The things she posts here — projects she’s sewn, knit, crocheted, cooked, painted, decorated or designed — are all things she’s completed. And she hopes she inspires others to do so, too.
