47. Crafty Crow

The What’s What: The Crafty Crow is a collection of crafts for kids compiled from all corners of the blogosphere, with an emphasis on projects rooted in nature that use recyclable materials, or that aid the creative process and foster family bonding. Alphabetically arranged categories like Animals & Bugs, Bookmaking, and Cultural & World Crafts help you browse for ideas — or zero in on exactly what you’re looking for.
The Mama: Cassi, a single mother who was a preschool teacher for many years, has homeschooled her three children for the past 15 years and has been blogging since 2004. (Her other blog is called Bella Dia.) She is also a craft designer who has contributed to craft books and national magazines. She says she began the Crafty Crow in 2008 as a way to keep track of all the amazing projects and ideas she found on the web.
