Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or just a beginner, Babble’s third annual Top 50 Mom Craft Blogs will inspire you. The moms on this list offer an incredible variety of ideas for DIY crafts and accessories to try with the kids — or by yourself. (Don’t worry: we won’t tell anyone how easy most of them actually are!) Thanks to our panel of craft lovers and industry insiders, you’ll see some new names on this list along with old favorites. And if we missed a crafty mom you love, please nominate it in the comments. Glue guns at the ready! — Amy Reiter

10. Dana Made It

The What’s What: Returning to our best craft blog roster after appearing on last year’s list, the creative blog Dana Made It includes patterns, sewing tutorials and fabric advice. You can find printable PDF patterns — like to-die-for beach robes for your kids — for purchase as well as free tutorials with step-by-step instructions for easy sewing projects even bumble-fingered moms can master (like this super-simple cotton skirt).
The Mama: Dana Willard, a Texas-based mother of two, is a writer, photographer, pattern designer, and sewer (she’s been reading patterns and sewing since age 10!). She’s also the author of the book, Fabrics A-to-Z: The Essential Guide to Choosing and Using Fabric for Sewing, which will teach you the finer points of working with fabrics like dotted swiss, silk charmeuse and faux fur.
