Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or just a beginner, Babble’s third annual Top 50 Mom Craft Blogs will inspire you. The moms on this list offer an incredible variety of ideas for DIY crafts and accessories to try with the kids — or by yourself. (Don’t worry: we won’t tell anyone how easy most of them actually are!) Thanks to our panel of craft lovers and industry insiders, you’ll see some new names on this list along with old favorites. And if we missed a crafty mom you love, please nominate it in the comments. Glue guns at the ready! — Amy Reitersee the full list »

25. Make and Takes
The What’s What: There are so many easy ideas and projects put forth on Make and Takes (also featured on our list last year) — and they seem so genuinely doable — that you may have a hard time figuring out where to start. Conquer crafts with your kids (how cute are these angry love birds?) or try your hand at a home project of your own (who knew it was so easy to make your own hooded bath towels?). You’ll also find recipes and thoughtful posts about family. In other words, fun things to make, ideas and inspiration to take.
The Mama: Make and Takes founder and managing editor Marie LeBaron is a former kindergarten teacher and Pacific Northwest mother of three who says she’s always loved crafts and “enjoys getting messy with glue and glitter.” She’s turned that love into a second career as a blogger (she’s contributed to Martha Stewart, Craftzine, PBS Parents and currently blogs for Babble) and is the author of Make and Takes for Kids: 50 Crafts Throughout the Year.
