4. One More Mushroom

The What’s What: How impressed would you be with yourself if you made your toddler a lamb pull toy? One More Mushroom shows you how. You can also whip up some Black Forest felt antlers to mount on the wall of your kid’s room, lending it a homespun alpine-lodge feel. Or turn an old sweater into a very huggable raindrop pillow; its smiling face will make your kid smile — knowing you did it yourself will make you smile.
The Mama: Designer and Utah mother of two Merete (she mostly goes by “Meta”), the creative force behind One More Mushroom, says she’s also a fan of travel and (naturally) her family. She is inspired by an Albert Einstein quote: “The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives.” Sounds good to us.
