Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or just a beginner, Babble’s third annual Top 50 Mom Craft Blogs will inspire you. The moms on this list offer an incredible variety of ideas for DIY crafts and accessories to try with the kids — or by yourself. (Don’t worry: we won’t tell anyone how easy most of them actually are!) Thanks to our panel of craft lovers and industry insiders, you’ll see some new names on this list along with old favorites. And if we missed a crafty mom you love, please nominate it in the comments. Glue guns at the ready! — Amy Reitersee the full list »

The What’s What: SYTYC is like the reality-TV show of craft blogs. Every 10 weeks a new group of crafters faces off on weekly projects based around a theme (“Knock-Off,” “Upcycle,” “Red”). Each week, readers vote on their favorite crafts. The weekly winner makes a free tutorial about their project, and the one with the least votes is eliminated from the competition. (Yes, there are prizes.) Readers also share their projects in weekly “linky parties” hosted on the blog.
The Mama: Missy Harding, a Boston-based stay-at-home mom and craft enthusiast, oversees the competition. She occasionally contributes her own tutorials to the mix but notes that all the projects featured while the challenges are running are the work of the participating crafters. “I am not nearly that talented,” she writes. “Nor do I have that much time!”
