Einav Kadosh, mother of two in Israel.
Why We Love Her:
A newcomer to Etsy (her shop is less than six months old), Einav had been fascinated with design since she was making clothes for her dolls, and eventually grew up to be a professional costume designer. But it wasn’t until a doll-making event at her son’s kindergarten – where she saw her first Waldorf doll – that she realized her true passion. Instantly inspired, she started designing these incredible dolls (which, in our opinion, surely surpass their inspiration) and hasn’t stopped since. She admits to a long process with aching fingers, but the finished product is unparalleled. And because her studio is located mere feet away from her children’s playroom, her 6-year-old son is often involved in the cutting and packing, while her 4-year-old daughter tests out the prototypes. Einev also makes soft elephants and bunnies – but the dolls have our hearts.
