Update: All Hostages in Marinette Freed by Student Gunman

Marinette High School hostages have been freed.

Fox 11 in Green Bay, WI reports that the hostage situation at Marinette High School has ended, “as an armed student has released 23 students and a teacher from a classroom where he had been holding them hostage for several hours.”  It is unknown if the gunman has been taken into custody.  All the hostages were released unharmed.

Fox 11 says, “Marinette’s Superintendent, Tim Baneck…. does not know for sure who the suspect is.”  As reported earlier, Green Bay Police and the Green Bay SWAT team were called to the scene.  We’ll keep you updated on this story as the identity and motive of the gunman are released.
