VIDEO: 9-Year-Old's Amazing Hockey Goal
The way it stands now, the Boston Bruins are eleventh in the eastern conference. Maybe they need to sign nine-year-old Oliver Wahlstrom.
The PeeWee hockey player made an amazing goal this week in a TD Bank 1-on-1 challenge – picking up the puck with his stick, spinning and shooting it around the goalie and into the net.
See for yourself:
According to Yahoo, the nine-year-old’s dad was apparently a professional player in Sweden. We’d pick him for our team.

i’d pick a hard-working, talented kid over a showboat anyday…
Likewise. Even a team of showboats won’t win every single game…you have to have teamwork. About the only place a move like that (in the video) would have any use would be a shootout…and even then, had I pulled something like that in an actual game (yes, I have played hockey for close to 30 years, including international travel), whether I had made the goal or not, my coach would have benched my butt for being a showoff.
Before we call this kid a showboater after watching him score one goal, maybe we just should congratulate him. He’s nine. It was a heck of a shot and I think the goalie might still be frozen out there in the crease. Also interesting to note, he’s a nine year old that is playing against 12 year olds.
Congrats kid.. actually, in this video, he’s a 9 year old playing against a goalie.
I don’t understand why PeeWee hockey would have had such good camera shots from so many angles in the first place. Maybe I just don’t take sports seriously enough.
CommentsCHECK THIS OUT! Same shot, different kid, almost two years ago. Is this yet another video hoax we’re falling for?
