We Sing Happy Songs: Ukulele Cover of ‘Gangnam Style’ Is Surprising, Delightful, Addictive

I know. You’re so over this song. Except.

Except you really need to hear this. It’s two girls from Brooklyn named Hope Johnson and Maggie Rosenberg, completely reinventing the song.

Hope and Maggie comprise the band We Sing Happy Songs, which you can follow on both Facebook and YouTube. Their musical tastes range from The Killers to Scott Joplin, from Elvis Presley to Pet Benatar. (I can’t get enough of their cover of Pat Benatar’s “We Belong.”

We Sing Happy Songs is currently unsigned, but I can’t wait to see what’s next for these young ladies. I expect epic awesomeness.
