What Should I Blog About?

It’s the holiday season, and this can either be a super reflective time for writers, where the writing just flows out, or it can be a time of such overwhelming stress that you’re totally blocked with what to blog about this week. Here is a prompt to get you off the blank screen of doom:

Write about something that is usually fraught with cliche–Christmas, for example–without resorting to a single familiar image. In other words, no chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Good luck!
