Who Do You Trust? New Survey Says Women Trust Blogs, Pinterest The Most

By daniellesmith |

Who do you trust?  Where do you go to seek advice and information?  To find out about new products? If you said blogs or Pinterest, you are right in line with a recent survey I was reading about on Mediabistro today.

But here’s the thing…. of the women surveyed, a large percentage claimed to trust all three major social networks overall: 81 percent trust Pinterest, 73 percent trust Twitter and 67 percent trust Facebook, though it is the blogs that actually drive the women to “action.” It is through blogs that the woman say they get help making purchasing decisions and getting product information.

Facebook ranks the highest when in comes to entertainment value and having fun.

But where do YOU go?  Sure, I DO some research online, some “polling the room,” but nothing can take the place of ASKING the people I trust?

That absolutely terrifies me. Women “trust” those sources?? A sad commentary on life today.

  2. Suzie says:

What does it mean to “trust” Pinterest? All it is is a bunch of pretty pictures of things I can’t afford and/or don’t have the time to make. Maybe the trust level is high because it’s so non-controversial.
