Article after article is discussing the impact of social media on this year’s presidential election. While it isn’t the first social media election, there is no doubt that social sites are playing a huge role this year.
Like many, I was not only glued to the television during the initial presidential debate, I was also in front of my keyboard with fingers at the ready. I stuck mostly to Twitter, where just Romney’s mention of Big Bird alone generated 17,000 tweets per minute.
So how did each candidate do during the debate? Yeah, yeah, Romney won (sorry, I feel a bit peeved about that) but how did the social media war go?
