Magda Pecsenye, a .k.a. Moxie of Ask Moxie, is the anti-expert parenting expert: She’s the easygoing mom-next-door who has an answer for pretty much any question you might ask – and when she doesn’t, she has a vast community of readers who she’s quick to turn to for crowd-sourced support. Her own wealth of knowledge probably comes from the fact that she’s pretty much been through it all. And while she may have her own personal beliefs when it comes to raising children, she stays fairly neutral in her advice, telling moms that, no matter what, “You know your kids best.” And if that weren’t enough to impress, she also writes, with her ex-husband, a blog about co-parenting after divorce at WhenTheFlamesGoUp.com, and maintains, in Babble Voices, the blog Moxieville, where she admits that after all this time doling out parenting advice on the Internet, she’s still stumped by questions about potty training. (Aren’t we all, Magda? Aren’t we all?)

Easygoing? Hardly!
She started a single mother debate and managed to offend, alienate and demean single mothers. Then, she went back for more. Anything for ratings, I guess.
She has two boys, 8 and 5 – I’m missing what makes her an expert?
