- #87 Babble Best
By her own admission, Alexa Stevenson can always find more to say about something. And if you read her blog, Flotsam, you know what a good thing that is. Flotsam hasn’t changed much since it launched in 2005. Now, like then, it’s a place for Alexa to share her “discarded odds and ends,” which, it turns out, is the very definition of “Flotsam.”
What has changed, however, is her life. Alexa conceived twins via IVF, but lost her little boy, Ames, after 22 weeks. Less than a month later, Simone was born at a mere 1 pound, 11 ounces. Alexa shared her NICU experiences the way she shares all of her other ones – with candor, with humor, and with intimacy.
